Born in Colombia with deep Spanish heritage, Claudia is more than a designer—she is a storyteller of fabric, form, and feminine force. With a life shaped by cultures across ten countries, her creations reflect a global soul and a timeless vision of what it means to be a woman.

From studying Apparel Design at the prestigious Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and the Netherlands School of Art, to mastering textile visual arts, fashion merchandising, and business commerce at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, Cataleya’s education is as multifaceted as her artistry.

Her journey spans continents and couture houses—from overseeing textile trade and merchandise in Germany with Joop and Kookai, to sourcing exclusive materials from Nepal and Switzerland. She later founded Besos Moda in the U.S., earning recognition as a featured designer at the inaugural Los Angeles Fashion Week and dressing celebrities across film, music, and red carpets with her signature elegance.

Now, with A’MIA, Cataleya redefines modern couture. Each design is a limited-edition creation, inspired by the spirit of Ancient Goddesses, yet rooted in the realities of contemporary women. A’MIA is not just fashion—it is inspirational artistry, shaped by the hands of experience, and driven by the desire to awaken every woman’s essence.
